Argo

Argo is the traveltech accelerator of the National CDP Network, created by CDP Venture Capital in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and based in Venice. The accelerator is managed by Zest and VeniSIA (Ca' Foscari University of Venice) and is supported by main partners Intesa Sanpaolo and Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, corporate partner Human Company, and technical partner Scuola Italiana di Ospitalità. Argo's goal is to launch approximately 30 startups in the tourism and hospitality sectors over the next three years, accelerating the digital transition and sustainability of a sector crucial to the Italian economy.

2022/2023 Edition

From a telepass for tracking the entry and exit of boats from ports, to a platform dedicated to sports adventure guides, via an Uber-style private air transportation service that makes flying cheaper, to a platform that allows people to choose outdoor experiences in direct contact with nature: these are the seven innovative solutions developed by the startups selected for the first edition of Argo. The seven startups received pre-seed investment from CDP Venture Capital and Zest, and five of them received an additional grant provided by the Ministry of Tourism.
